1. Summary
OUTBREAK: ECHOES is a real-world outdoor multiplayer game. Precise location and optional Bluetooth proximity data are required for core gameplay (infection distance, park boundaries, supply crates, and pocket play). We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your location for advertising.

3. How we use data
- Run Humans vs Infected matches
- Keep tracking alive in pocket / background during an active match
- Improve accuracy with BLE assist when permitted
- Show maps and zone status on your device
- Diagnose hotspot / LAN / cloud connection issues
- Understand product usage via Google Analytics (Firebase) and Microsoft Clarity. GPS is never sent to those services. Clarity pauses during the hunt.
4. Sharing
- Location and game events are shared with other players in your match via the host phone or cloud game server — required for multiplayer.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share location with advertisers or data brokers.
- Cloud hosts (e.g. Render) process session traffic only to operate the game.
- Google Analytics / Firebase and Microsoft Clarity receive app-usage data as described above — never live GPS.
5. Retention
Live location is used in real time and is not stored as a long-term personal profile by the app. Local history stays on your device until you clear app data. Servers may keep short-lived session logs for reliability, not for ads.
6. Your choices
You can deny or revoke location, Bluetooth, or camera in system Settings. Core outdoor features will not work without location. Restore or cancel Operative in App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Uninstalling removes local history on the device.
7. Children
Intended for teens and adults (physical outdoor play; fictional violence/horror). Follow your region’s age rules and store content rating.
8. Safety
Outdoor play has real-world risk. See the in-app Safety Policy. Location features do not replace attention to traffic, terrain, or people.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
